Daisy suffers flesh wound when Lars's gun goes off on yacht. While grappling with Palmer, Lars falls overboard and is run over by vessel. Oiga claims she never knew her brother Lars was a Nazi, merely thought he was an army defector. Learning her autobiography is under consideration for movie, Erica wants to star in it. Joe is suspicious of Tad's trip "with friend." Opal has videotape redone at Wallingford manor and has it sent to Ralph, who is dazzled by her and asks for a date. After Steve quits Cortlandt Computers, Nina moves back home. Recuperating at Cortlandt mansion, Daisy refuses Palmer's marriage proposal for now. Jesse learns Angie is pregnant just as she gives birth to baby boy and Les talks her into signing adoption papers. Seeing Greg, Jenny admits to Tony she still loves Greg, but Tony promises to make her forget him. Devon wants to move in with Myrtle.

Jesse sees his baby and tells Angie she had no right to putt he child up for adoption. When the baby disappears, Jesse tries unsuccessfully to track the baby down. In an attempt to separate Cliff and Nina, Palmer offers to send Cliff and Devon on ski trip, but Devon refuses. Following a fight with Erica over her publicizing their romance, Mike dumps her and heads for Alaskan assignment. Greg admits to Jenny he lied about blaming her for accident. Tony is warned by Olga it his marriage to Jenny is off, go is his modeling career. Ralph is delighted by his first date with Opal. Tad and Marian's tryst gets off to poor start. Larry decides to surprise his wife Marian on her Caribbean trip. Ross Chandler, whose wealthy family owns Unirest, the restaurant chain, arrives in Pine Valley to supervise the rebuilding of the Chateau and buys the Bixby estate for his living quarters

After Nina tells Cliff she loves him, he is unable to make a commitment, but he does end relationship with Devon. When Palmer tries to kiss Daisy, she pulls away, recalling the night Lars forced himself on her. Opal is unhappy with Devon and Bonnie living with Myrtle. Devon agrees to help Lynn work with alcoholic teenager. Greg tells Amanda he cares about her but cannot say that he loves her. When Jenny tries to reach Greg to tell him that she loves him, she instead reaches Liza, who lyingly claims Amanda and Greg are engaged. Having inherited all of Lars's money, Olga decides to give it away because she feels tainted by Lars's Nazi connections. In San Francisco, Brooke interviews for job and meets Tom's old football teammate Gil, who seems short on cash. Larry nearly catches Tad with Marian.

When Lynn offers comforting hug, Devon admits her uneasiness. Lynn assures her she was not trying to seduce her. Angie and Jesse vow to find their baby son and then remarry. Breaking into file, Jesse discovers address of baby's adoptive parents. Jenny writes love letter to Greg, but Enid intercepts it. Phoebe gets drunk when she discovers Joe, not Chuck, is taking over Charles's practice now that he has retired. Opal realizes Ralph likes the real Opal, not the phony "lady" she has been presenting to him.

Enid feigns illness to stop Greg from meeting with Jenny. When Ross’s uncle, Adam Chandler cannot make it to Erica's promotion party she is forced to go alone. After party Erica and Mike bed down. Mark returns home but Ellen refuses to see him. Mark moves in with the Martins. Nina continues to pursue Cliff. Devon is unhappy when she wants to visit Lynn and discovers Lynn's lover is visiting. Spotting Tad's gold chain at her house, Liza realizes he's having an affair with her mother. Liza heads for Foxy's and gets involved with truck driver. Vera contacts Tad, who rushes to Liza, but she runs away. Angie and Jesse continue search for baby. Having left Hank, Edna wants monthly alimony of $200,000. Gil fakes call canceling job interview in New York, and then moves in with Tom and Brooke.

Jeremiah plans to kill Janet and Mark if they don't turn over incriminating tapes. As Sandy and Larry search for Mark, Mark is shot by Jeremiah. Larry then kills Jeremiah. Stacey feels she is responsible for Mark's critical wound, while he is unaware she has pledged her love to Jamie. Janet is jailed and faces extradition to Washington. Jamie slugs Ted when he hears him offer Nicole cocaine. Peter arrives home from London and tells Sally he wants to marry right away. Sally comes face-to-face with her former lover, and father of her child, David Thatcher. Julia is suffering writer's block.

Julia is a hit on her first talk-showappearance. Clarice faces financial worries when Larry's paycheck doesn't cover the monthly bills. Blaine is jealous when Mac gives Jamie assignment instead of Sandy. A pregnant Stacey tells a still critically ill Mark that she's expecting his baby.

Jamie asks Stacy to marry him, promising that he'll let Mark be the father to her baby. Stacey fears that this will cause Mark setback in his physical condition, but Jamie vows not to allow Stacey to marry Mark. Jennifer overhears Sally and David discuss Kevin being Sally's child while Jennifer's was stillborn. Unable to trace Blaine's younger brother, Catlin. Blaine and Sandy return from Wyoming. Mac asks Ted to continue on as photographer.

Julia buys sports car with first royalty check. Sally and David search for his wife Jennifer, fearing she may harm Kevin. Finding packet of cocaine which was planted in her dressing room, Nicole takes it. Jennifer phones David, warning him to stop search or he'll never see Kevin again. Donna threatens to expose illegal adoption ring if Sally and Peter wed. Clarice is upset when Larry continues to go on spending sprees with charge cards.

Mark tells Stacey he will not have needed surgery until they wed in hospital. When Stacey pays visit, Mark has minister in his hospital room to perform ceremony. Driving during snowstorm Jennifer is killed. Kevin blames his father for Jennifer's death. Sally tells Peter she's Kevin's natural mother. Jamie plans to prove Ted gave Nicole her latest dose of cocaine.

Learning their marriage has been annulled, Whit decides to tell everyone Charmaine is not his sister but his former wife. Paul accuses Gunnar of murdering his father, causing Barbara to take the child to a psychiatrist. On TV, John and Karen expose James as a fraud, stating Gunnar is the real Stenbeck heir with Dusty in line for inheritance. Gunnar decides to give money to John to do research on the heart disease that killed Burke. Steve proves to Whit that Craig stole one of the coins used to frame Steve. David finds empty pill bottle and insists Jeff have blood test. David is called away on emergency; Jeff starts to change label on sample as David returns. Craig tells Ernie Cricket is pregnant.

Caught by David trying to change blood samples, Jeff runs off. Jeff winds up on Skid Row and buys some methedrine to shoot into vein, but stops when a policeman comes on scene. Jeff goes to sleazy motel and tries to go cold turkey. Whit believes Steve's charge that Craig double-crossed Whit with coin theft. Whit fires Craig and Craig vows to get even. Margo invites Bob and female judge Sara Compton for dinner. First Bob feels uncomfortable because on his first date with Sara she came on to him, but the two enjoy each other's company and laugh off their first date. Arriving in Oakdale, Ernie asks Cricket to marry him. Samantha finds Cory and now has information to free her mother. Learning Craig embezzled from her, Diana insists on his interest in nightclub or she'll go to police.

Craig tracks down graphologist who agrees to modify Betsy's letter to Steve. In the new letter, Betsy tells Steve she loves Craig and regrets having betrayed him. Bob and David tell Annie that Jeff should go to a treatment center after he's released from the hospital. Jeff nearly becomes violent at the thought of going to detox center and persuades Annie to let him come home. Steve agrees to tend bar at Anemone on temporary basis. Craig has a dream in which Betsy leaves him and he suffers fall. Craig later goes to therapist, saying that he needs information on novel he's writing. Following car trouble, Diana spends night on Steve's couch. When Betsy arrives to talk with Steve, Diana, wearing Steve's nightshirt, opens the door and makes it look as though she and Steve went to bed together.

Lisa and Barbara are impressed by a man named Richard, who claims his wealthy dad wants to open a boutique. Steve cries in Diana's arms, saying he's lost Betsy forever. Craig asks stuntman to teach him to take fall without getting injured. Diana tells Brian she intends to marry Steve. Brian has negative response, saying Steve isn't good enough for her, Margo and Tom want to start family. Unable to find job, John physically attacks Bob when he won't give him a reference. Tom and Margo fight about their fathers' disagreement. Lisa is furious when Whit writes damaging article about Jeff’s drug abuse.

Craig has all bases covered during his "paralysis" act, including a disability policy and pills to cause unconsciousness right after the fall. As Betsy's about to leave Craig approaches her, she pulls away and he "falls" down stairs. Steve considers working long-distance truck run. When Terry, Steve's clown friend from the circus, suggests he and Steve start construction firm, Diana decides to be their first client. Bob tells Jeff board has suspended him from hospital until he gets help for drug problem at treatment center. Jeff refuses. Brian turns down Ariel's request for job on newspaper. Richard, still claiming to be wealthy when he's around Barbara, gets a job as night janitor in exchange for apartment.

Wally triples Matt's $800, enabling Matt to go to Zurich with Amy. Sam, learning Fran and Amy are in Zurich, decides to follow them. Clarissa is surprised when she receives an invitation to Mark and Paula's party. Trey is worried by two strangely familiar hecklers on campaign trail. Mark is annoyed with Sloane's gung-ho television coverage of Trey's campaign. Maggie joins Zed for dinner. Thomas and Beth decide to give each other a little freedom and Thomas plans to stay in Washington. In Zurich, Myrna and Fran are dining in a restaurant when two Englishmen volunteer to show them the town. Myrna accepts. Sam arrives and realizes that the two men are jewel thieves. Sam stops them and Fran and Sam face each other for the first time since their long-ago affair. Zed has Maggie wangle two invitations to Paula's party. Ronni is obviously infatuated with Zed.

Fran is shocked when she comes face-to-face with a long-ago lover Scott. Scott and Fran have dinner. He doesn't admit that he is Sam Clegg, while Fran does not reveal that she has a teenage daughter by their affair. Brenda is surprised when Ronni is impressed by Wally's gambling prowess. Trey thinks he has met Zed before. Julie and Tyler plan to start a family. Thomas asks Wally to help Beth be accepted by family. Thomas admits that he made mistakes in his relationship with Beth and that he has to reach out more to other people.

Clarissa apologizes to Wally for coming down on him about Matt's going to Zurich with money. Wally won at gambling table. In Zurich, Amy is blindfolded for three days so her eyes can be evaluated. Following date with Sam, who she still knows as Scott, Fran is beginning to fall for him all over again. A frantic Myrna enlists Jordy's help, who calls Sam, claiming Myrna is ill in Paris. Fran realizes that Scott Pierson is Myrna's husband, Sam Clegg, and prepares to confront Myrna, only to realize that Myrna is gone. Paula is furious when Sloane refuses to wear designer dress Paula has ordered to party. Ronni and Wally vow to work out their problems. At Mario's, Beth and Jordy give each other flirtatious glances. Thomas is trying for surgical post at university hospital in Washington. Clarissa agrees to attend Paula's party. Paula gives in to Mark's demands that she come downstairs to the party.

Paula is angry when Mark says she must make the party a buffet. Julie is unhappy when Sloane slated to speak in front of same women's group as she. When Jordy vetoes Beth's suggestion that they try to be civil, she says he probably has questions about his sexuality. Jordy is stunned when Beth tells him Thomas is wonderful lover; Fran comes face-to-face with Sam and tells him she plans to sue him for everything he's got.

Sam assures Myrna he loves her, not Fran, and warns her that her continual accusations will, destroy their marriage. To keep Wally and Ronni from sleeping together, Brenda pays someone to call Wally and claim that Ronni is out with Zed. Ronni thinks she was stood up by Wally and decides they are finished. Talking about date with Thomas to Ronni, Beth slips and calls Thomas Jordy. Ronni wonders if Beth still cares for Jordy, but Beth says no. Thomas accepts Beth's explanation that she only wanted to try and make things comfortable for she and Jordy when they run into each other. Thomas tells Beth he's found position in Washington hospital. After Paula practices with gun, she wipes off fingerprints, then places gun in desk drawer.

Days Of Our Lives

Bo and Danny finalize the plans to shoot a phony prison documentary. Unbeknownst to them, Hope sneaks into their van. Tony and David accuse each other of killing Renee. Letitia helps Eugene evade police, who've come to arrest him. Eugene learns his uncle was a mass murderer. Liz is thrilled when superintendent says she'll recommend her marriage to Neil. Chris plans to buy Shenanigan's. A stranger stands outside Sandy's window with a raven feather. Anna finds a letter from Kelly naming Alex as murderer.

Letitia is murdered. Just before police discover her body with Eugene standing over it, a knife wielding man who looks just like Eugene appears in the room. Hope joins Danny and Bo's "video crew" at the prison. Hope must stay with them and help maintain their cover. Bo and Hope are in awkward position when they are given cottage for a week on prison grounds with double bed. Danny discovers that a rigged light could electrocute Bo and Hope. Danny arrives just in time and the wire is disconnected. Eugene is taken into custody on murder charges, but is later released. The warden discovers her office is bugged.

Maggie agrees to marry Don. Neil and Liz get permission to marry. Doug and Mickey feel Bo is a threat to Melissa and Hope. Just before exiting prison, Bo, Hope and Danny get negative information on the warden. Anna gets incriminating material against Alex regarding attempt made on Roman's life months ago. Abe feels that Roman is headed for breakdown similar to the one he suffered years ago.

Sandy signs statement that she saw Roman kill the latest victim, Daisy. Marlena refuses to believe Roman is a killer. Roman is identified in police lineup and Abe finds incriminating evidence at the Brady house. Don is angry when Roman does not plead "not guilty by reason of insanity" and instead simply pleads "not guilty." Bo plans to spike Roman's doughnuts so Roman will have to be taken out of jail. Anna receives her first blackmail payment from Alex. Bo dreams he and Hope are married. Liz gets new appeal when evidence shows she was telling truth about the shooting. Liz and Neil plan to marry.

After kidnapping Melissa, Peter heads for New York. The twosome are caught in a snowstorm and take refuge in a farmhouse where Pete ties Melissa up. Liz and Neil prepare for wedding at prison in two weeks. Tony and Sandy share romantic evening. Roman passes out after eating poison-laced doughnut. He is rushed to hospital after suffering apparent heart attack. Bo revives Roman. Alice manages to help Bo aid Roman's escape. Alex orders Anna killed. Marlena is upset when Anna wants to leave town with Carrie.

The Edge Of Night

Louis traps Alicia. Raven finally believes Sky no longer loves Alicia. Sky realizes Hext managed to hypnotize nearly everyone in Monticello via cable TV. Robbie takes Jody hostage, but she is able to overcome his spell. A fire breaks out, with both Jody and Robbie unconscious. Preacher rescues Robbie, unaware Jody is trapped inside.

With nearly everyone removed from cable TV hypnotic spell, Sky goes after Hext. Hext is killed and Gunther shot. Derek tells Miles he'll work with him, but plans to fight for Chris. Preacher saves Jody after Robbie informs Preacher that Jody is trapped in fire. Jody and Preacher make love at the penthouse. Louis traps Mitzi and the wounded Gunther in a locked room, where the duo hear a strange scratching sound.

Miles realizes Preacher and Jody have slept together and he wonders if Jody's mature enough to accept responsibility in this type of relationship. Jody tells Preacher she needs time before answering his marriage proposal. Sky and Raven pass exam to become private eyes. Van Dine and his henchmen are taken into custody.

Alicia asks Chris to sell her the building next to the Whitneys' private eye office. Cliff is released from hospital. Jody tells Shelley she's wasting her time if she's trying to break up Jody and Preacher. Sky and Raven begin investigating the haunting of the Whitney house.

Body of Kraus found in Whitney's attic. Sky and Raven pose as Earl's houskeeper to investigate murder. Derek spends night with Chris after his apartment is broken into. Derek sleeps on couch, but when Miles arrives at Chris's he gets furious. Chris demures when Miles offers to take her to London with him. Preacher finally accepts Jody's decision to attend out-oftown college.

General Hospital

Grant admits he is imposter and never knew the real Grant. Hospital is criticized by board for hiring Grant. Luke and Holly feel Grant should be given mercy because he saved their lives; Scorpio is not so certain. Gregory is to stand trial. Connie is ordered to head for Goulistan. Scorpio is thrilled when Holly admits she loves him. In jail, Grant faces trial and asks Jake to be his lawyer. Grant makes statement that he wants asylum in the United States. Bobbie tells Brock she's pregnant and he feigns happiness. Blackie decides to start his own rock band.

Arriving in Port Charles, Yuri orders Grant is turned over in exchange for an American being held captive. Scorpio refuses the deal, knowing Grant a dead man if he is taken out of Port Charles. Assassination attempts are made on Grant, but none are successful. After receiving a letter telling of his love for her, Celia visits Grant in prison. She says she doesn't know if she could ever live with him but cannot totally deny her love. Luke wins mayoral race by small margin and asks Scorpio and Lee to be on his team. Brock is furious when the casino shut down because legalized gambling bill is defeated. Fearing he will lose her, Brock decides to marry Bobbie. Isaac gives Rose a book on Judaism. Thinking Blackie has lost interest in her, Lu decides to date Tommy.

On the eve of his second wedding anniversary to Laura. Luke cannot forget her. Luke continues to have the feeling he's being followed, unaware that the woman who's following him is Laura. Laura rents a room in a hotel, afraid to tell anyone she's back in Port Charles because she fears Stavros Cassadine will cause trouble. Lesley has near-breakdown when she suddenly realizes that she has been unable to come to terms with Laura's "death." Lesley checks into hotel, unaware that Laura is in the room next to her. Rick and Slick find a distraught Lesley and take her home. Grant is cleared of all charges and wonders if he can have a life with Celia. As Blackie continues to audition beautiful girls for his band, Lu makes a play for Tommy

Grant is dismissed from staff of hospital. Jimmy Lee, Alan and Edward try to force Grant out of the house by giving him silent treatment. Celia tells Grant she's going to stand by him and she tries unsuccessfully to get a job. Laura recalls being kidnapped by David Gray and then almost being raped by Stavros. Helena Cassadine allowed Laura to escape the island where she was being held hostage in order to get even with Stavros. Following an argument with Amy over Amy's poor treatment of Grant, Bobbie suffers miscarriage. Luke is sworn in as mayor.

After being sworn in as mayor, Luke spots Laura. He's overjoyed at her return, but Laura is fearful that she, Luke and her family will be murdered by Stavros. Luke tells Laura that she was kidnapped by the Cassidines, but Laura tells Luke that she later married Stavros because she thought Luke was dead and Stavros had promised to protect her. Laura reunites with Lesley and Rick, and they decide to hold press conference claiming Laura has amnesia and has no memory of what happened to her after her disappearance hoping this will make Stavros drop his murderous plans. Grant is looking for job and Monica suggests he take over her post at pharmaceutical firm. Jake tells his Uncle Isaac he's going to wed Rose no matter what.

Guiding Light

After it appears Billy was killed by car bomb, H.B. decides he and Henry must tell everyone what happened on long-ago weekend. Billy appears and says his secretary must have died in explosion. Bea is unaware Eli has turned camera she is taking to meeting into bomb. Lillian is unaware Bradley has raped Beth. An ashamed Beth won't tell anyone or have anything to do with Philip. Grateful that Ross didn't arrest H.B., Trish agrees to work on his campaign. Bea tells Tony she wishes his father, Tom, were alive even if it means Tom might be a killer. Warren manages to clear Lesley Ann of charges concerning the overmedicating of Henry. Ed is amused by Maureen's jealousy over Claire being his physical therapist. Hope is getting over alcohol problems through AA.

Henry recounts weekend when he, H.B., Brandon, Bill and Tom met Annabelle's mother. She appeared during one of their fishing trips and later drowned. Tom discovered her body, and soon after that he disappeared. Eli traps Tony and holds a gun on him, but Tony manages to escape and runs to t the boarding house to warn everyone that the camera Eli told Bea to take to meeting holds the bomb. Tony arrives just after the bomb goes off, but the only injured party is Ross, who receives minor injuries. Beth, who continues to take shower after shower to try and cleanse herself from Bradley's rape, becomes hysterical when Lillian thinks Beth is upset because Philip tried to come on to her. Kelly fears Claire is too involved with a little girl whose mother remains in coma following accident.

Ross, Trish, Quint, Nola and Bea go to Lake Elizabeth where they are reunited with Annabelle, who recalls Tom visited the cabin the day Eli killed him. Everyone returns to Springfield determined to put the past behind them. Bea holds memorial service for Tom, finally coming to terms with her husband's death. Mindy tries to console Philip over his loss of Beth. When Philip goes to visit Beth, Lillian, believing Philip is the reason for Beth's depression, calls the police. Philip spends the night in jail. Alan promises to help Bradley keep Beth and Philip apart. A restraining order is issued to keep Philip away. Ed tells Claire to be honest about her feelings for Kelly. Agatha tells Billy and Vanessa that she knew about their bet as to which one could get her money first. Vanessa and Billy agree to marry. Lesley Ann breaks down when she's told by Warren that they are through.

Kelly tells Claire he wants her, but she asks for him to wait. Having been tossed aside by Warren, Lesley Ann takes bottle, of pills home from the hospital. Alan hires a prostitute to "get" Ross. Nola is upset when she learns Vanessa is only nice to her because Quint insisted. Vanessa and Billy admit they love one another and plan to marry. Billy talks about his second wife, a woman he really loved. When Philip tries to kiss Beth, she scratches him and runs off. Nola infuriates Vanessa by inviting the city's homeless to her Thanksgiving celebration.

Alan heads for Tulsa to bring Billy's ex-wife to Springfield. Tony and Annabelle make love. Lesley Ann is upset because her suicide attempt was unsuccessful. Hillary, disillusioned with life in general, decides to take solo backpacking trip. Phillip is under restraining order to stay away from Beth. Vanessa is pressured into asking Nola to be her bridesmaid. Bradley is nervous when Lillian insists Beth have complete physical examination.

Loving

Lily's other personality agrees to see Garth and then decides to get Jack to support her. Lily herself wants to stay with Stacey. Mike is angry when he sees Merrill visit his parents, who are unaware her affair with Roger ended her engagement to Doug. Merrill tells Noreen she's fearful if she marries Roger that he will one day have an affair with another woman. Lorna feels guilty about being mean to Ann. Ann confronts Roger about his latest affair and tells him to move out. Unable to stop their attraction for one another, Ann and Mike bed down. Tony and Stacey are growing closer.

After crying on Doug's shoulder about' divorce of parents, Lorna confesses she's known about Roger and Merrill for a long time. Clem informs Roger that the party wants him to take over for the retiring Sen. North in January, but not if Roger intends to divorce. Ann and Mike's relationship continues to bloom. Ami informs Cabot she's asked Roger for a divorce. Merrill tells Roger that if all she'll be is his mistress, she will not stay with him. Billy runs into Noreen in hospital and they decide they both need someone to love. Garth calls Lily at Stacey's when he hears she's home. Jack almost hits Garth when Garth asks what he knows about normal family life.

Jack is arrested for Garth's murder. Douglas told that Merrill has ended her affair with Roger. Billy asks Rita Mae for one more chance.

Jack is in jail for Garth's murder. Lily's other personality, Trista, is dating Curtis. Roger cannot believe Merrill is through with him. Stacey is stunned by Jack's arrest. Lorna is hoping her parents will reconcile.

Jack refuses to listen to Lily when she claims she killed Garth. Lily is unaware that her other personality made plans for New York trip with Curtis. Roger is living with Ann for political reasons and she warns Roger to keep his distance. Spotting Lorna at "The Hideaway" Dirk realizes that she's rich and wants to get involved with her. Art believes Dirk may have been in the house the night Garth was killed.

One Life to Live

Agents try to prove to Dorian that David is a spy, but she finds it hard to believe. Gary finds a photo of Ava and Dorian starts to believe that David may be a terrorist. David agrees to be drop for smuggled jewels which will be exchanged for medical supplies to San Carlos. Dorian tells David she doesn't want Cassie to know he's her father, but he says it's time she knew. A medium halts seance at Vernon Inn when he realizes Brad has rigged special effects. Brad discovers a secret panel in the inn. When things start to go wrong at the inn, Brad thinks he may be cursed. When Alec is injured, fellow football player Doc carries Cougars to victory. Alec plans to play in the next game with painkiller given him by Anthony. Marco and Edwina decide on real wedding.

Dorian decides to help agents corner David. David agrees to wait awhile before telling Cassie he is her father. Dorian takes photo of David that Mrs. Beutel sent to Cassie and substitutes stranger's photo. Cassie decides to stop search for her father. Edwina is to take over Pat's talk show. Jenny is heartbroken when Kat considers moving to Florida with Mary. Brad sends clippings about Katrina's past as hooker and drug abuser to Kat's prospective Florida employer. Taking pain medication, Alec manages to stay in football game, but when medication wears off he fumbles ball and loses game. Asa thinks Lucinda is out to snare him.

Asa is angry when the Banner prints front-page news about Gen. Carvelle being killed in San Carlos. Just as Cassie leaves David's, Simon starts to follow her. Jenny breaks her engagement to Brad. Scott is blackmailing Ava. Edwina goes on air as Pat's replacement on the talk show, and Delilah is to start her career as exotic dancer.

Simon shows interest in Cassie. Alec scores winning touchdown but it may mean the end of his career. Marco decides to open his own TV station. Lucinda believes Osgood Starr will make a good local celebrity. Osgood appears to be everything his twin brother Tango wasn't — intelligent, honest, sophiticated.

Plans for Scott to murder David go awry when Scott is shot by one of the agents instead. The gun is then placed at David's feet, and a dying Scott mumbles David's name. Anthony is interested in Samantha. Left by Jenny, Brad comes on to Delilah, but she turns him down. Alec's football career is over due to knee injury. Brad starts to Vernon in treasure hunt and wants to be certain that Jenny wins. Danny and Viki plan to investigate San Carlos revolution.

Frank and Faith agree Maggie is lying about her mother and decide to trap her. Maggie realizes they're closing in, but decides if she marries Roger it won't matter. Roger makes it clear that he has no intentions of marrying anyone. In France, Joe plays up to his adoring wife but can't stop thinking of Siobhan. Joe goes to see Siobhan In New York. Delia decides to take the out-of-town job and leave Little John in Frank and Jill's care. Maggie is hired to model for medical posters Seneca orders. A former boyfriend of Maggie shows up in New York.

Maggie's boyfriend Dusty arrives and says he wants $1,000 to keep quiet about her past. Maggie hopes to get the money from Roger, but changes her mind about asking for the cash when he tells her he never plans to remarry. Frank prepares to return to work. Ryan is unimpressed by Sydney, who has her eye on Jack. Joe and Siobhan make love, but he realizes he must stay married to his wife to protect Siobhan's life and his own. Bill warns Siobhan that all Joe ever brings is heartache.

Leigh suspects that Jack and Sydney are involved. Siobhan asks for new partner when Bill gives her hard time about her relationship with Joe. Maeve learns that Siobhan and Joe have spent the night together. Forging check for $1,000 with Jill's name, Maggie gives it to Dusty, but he wants more money. Jack and Sydney to go to New Orleans for broadcasting convention.

Maggie is paid by Seneca in order to spy on Frank and Jill. When Leigh threatens to fire Sydney, Jack tells her that if Sydney is fired then he's leaving too. Jill wants to fire Bess when she learns Bess wrote a $1,000 check on Jill's account. When Siobhan goes to visit Joe, his wife Jacqueline opens the door.

When Faith tries to tell Jill Maggie forged the check, Jill accuses Roger and Faith of always treating Jill like an outsider. Joe and Siobhan continue their relationship and plan platonic meetings in Father McShane's study. When Leigh receives threatening notes she fears Ryan is in danger. Sydney is confused when Jack becomes furious at her suggestion that they investigate underworld while in Milan. Attacked by Dusty, Bess fights him off. When he hits his head, Bess runs to Jill claiming to have killed the man.

Learning Kristen lied about being pregnant when they wed, Brian walks out on her. Warren gives his club account books to the police, hoping they will prove Martin is an embezzler. Sunny is distressed that the man she argued with over fenderbender on highway is her new officemate, Hogan McCleary. Warren arranges for Ringo to plant millions of dollars' worth of jewels in Martin's hotel suite. Sunny and Hogan are upset when Lloyd assigns them to work as team on three-month basis. Lloyd wonders how he is going to get piece of land Stephanie owns. Stephanie catches Ringo with Wendy and chases him out of the house.

Jo fears Warren has discovered Suzi's inheritance and feels that he is trying to get his hands on it. A gun-toting Vargas stops Jo and Suzi as they leave the Riverboat after dinner. Travis promises he'll not rest until his uncle Martin is cleared of any suspicion of embezzlement. Ringo pockets one of the diamonds Warren wants planted in Martin's briefcase. Stephanie and Travis are furious when they see Lloyd's headline saying Martin has had questionable financial dealings. Steve visits Martin in the hospital and tells him how proud he is to be Martin's son.

Ringo plants gold coins in Martin's suitcase so that he'll be accused of embezzling money. Warren and Ringo are devastated when the coins disappear. Travis warns Warren he'll do anything to keep Martin's name clean, Jo believes Vargas is still alive. Wendy offers Ringo money to tell why Warren broke off with her.

As they search for Suzi, Stephanie and Lloyd fight frostbite in the snowstorm. A huddle to make them both warm turns into a kiss. Fatally shot, Vargas lies in Jo's arms and mumbles that he's left her three million dollars "under the rose." Stu asks Barbara to marry him. Everyone is thrilled because Suzi escaped Vargas' clutches. Martin tells Steve leaving Jo was the biggest mistake he ever made.

Wendy loses baby after auto accident. Brian beats Warren when he learns Warren fathered Wendy's baby. Sonny and Hogan debate about quoting Vargas’ last words about "$3 million under the rose" in story about his death. Suzie realizes Warren is staying married to her because of her $4 million inheritance when she reaches age 21.

Nikki and Rick consummate their relationship and he later denies ever being married. Kevin learns Rick is a widower and hires Paul to investigate how Rick's first wife died. Involved in car accident, Traci is unhurt but she is booked for driving under the influence of drugs after blood test shows presence of barbiturates. Traci collapses and is rushed to hospital. Lauren is upset when Danny won't leave Traci's side.

Traci may have to face charges of buying illegal amphetamines. Doctor fears Traci may have caused permanent heart damage by taking so many diet pills. Jill continues to pretend she is pregnant. Jack tells Diane he loves her and that she still loves him. Diane insists that all she wants is for her marriage to Andy to work. Paul discovers that Rick's first wife drowned. Paul tells Kevin he thinks it was an accidental drowning. Kevin believes that Rick played some part in his wife's death. In order to help Marian an keep diner open, Victor has money sent to her anonymously.

Jazz, captivated by Amy, convinces Paul to hire her as his secretary. A snowstorm hits Genoa City, Jack is with Jill. They are forced to spend the evening together with highway closed, and when the evening ends, the two of them make love. Unbeknownst to them, a man with a camera appears in window. Realizing how much John loves her, Jill promises to spend more time with John. Traci is stunned when her dealer Sparky threatens to harm her if she reveals that he was her drug source. After an evening of love with Julia, Victor asks her to remarry him, but she cannot give him an answer. Victor and Kevin change their opinion of Rick when they learn he saved baby Victoria's life by literally running with her to the hospital when their car was stuck in the snow. Rick is upset when he receives a threatening phone call from Glidden, a man from his past.

Jill learns she's pregnant. The prosecutor agrees to drop charges against Traci if she tells who sold her the drugs. Glidden contacts Rick and implies he knows more about the death of Rick's first wife. Later, Glidden is killed in a hit-and-run auto accident. Paul decides to investigate Glidden's death. Jack fights with Jill.

Gina refuses to go to bed with Jack. Jack is puzzled because Jill didn't tell him she was pregnant. Victor goes to Nikki and says they can remain friends but they cannot contact each other as often as they once did. Baby Victoria is recovering just fine. Nikki is confused because Rick is jealous of the attention she pays to the baby. Patty plans to give Jack a quick and easy divorce, but changes her mind when Jack's lawyer talks tough. She then decides to get every penny she can.
